Countabout is a subscription, and Mint is free, but with ads. (Incidentally, "Countabout" writes "It is one of the only personal finance appS (PLURAL) that will import data from Quicken and Mint. BUT.I have seen references to numerous problems with installing Quicken 2016 on Windows 10. So, 2016 Quicken looks like a viable approach so long as it works correctly with future new operating systems. I would need to get/download as well the latest update to the code on the CDROM they provide. But, I don't understand where the software these people are selling are downloaded (meaning download the code for installation) from, given that Intuit no longer markets or supports Quicken. I am considering to purchase Quicken 2016 from various vendors on the internet. If I start with a new program as of Jan 1, then I don't need Quicken any longer. I was wondering if there is a third party program - non-subscription - that can read my existing Quicken files.īut though preferable, even that is not essential. When you write "download" I understand you are referring to downloading your band and credit card posts.
